Environmental Conservation is a pivotal program for Agency for Rural Development Initiative (ARDI), a non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering sustainable development in northern Kenya. Recognizing the fragile ecosystems in this region and the crucial role they play in the well-being of rural communities, ARDI has prioritized Environmental Conservation as a key component of its initiatives.
ARDI Promotes environmental education. Mass education will be undertaken to promote afforestation, discourage deforestation, encourage proper waste disposal, and natural resource management. ARDI working to integrate gender justice into climate justice through raising awareness and empowering women. Women play an important role in fighting climate change as their voice can be unifying call for bringing change.
